1. Protected Health Information (PHI) & HIPAA Compliance
DentoSol ("Platform", "we", "us") is fully compliant with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and international patient health data regulations. All patient dental case histories, FDI charts, 3D intraoral scanner STL files, and treatment records uploaded by clinics are classified as Protected Health Information (PHI).
2. Data Encryption Standards
All electronic health data is encrypted using bank-grade AES-256 bit encryption at rest and transmitted securely via TLS 1.3 encryption. Multi-region cloud servers ensure zero unauthorized data access.
3. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Access to patient medical records is strictly governed by clinic role permissions. Receptionists see queue statuses, while lead dentists and specialists access full dental case histories.
